Joseph M. Siwinski, age 42, grew up in Mokena. Mr. Siwinski is a graduate of Mokena Public Schools, Marist High School, and The American Institute for Paralegals. Elected to the Mokena Village Board in 1995, Joe served three 4-year terms, was re-elected in 2009, and is currently serving his fourth term. During his time as an elected official, he oversaw significant growth in the Village as well as many important projects, including providing lake water to Mokena, improvements to the Downtown / Front Street area, and upgrading the Waste Water Treatment facilities. Mr. Siwinski also served on numerous village commissions including Sewer and Water Commission, Community Cable Commission, Downtown Retention Commission and the Long Term Space Planning Commission. Mr. Siwinski, President of MBLO Funding, Inc. and Lincoln-Way Realty, Inc. of Mokena, is a member of the Mokena Chamber of Commerce and St. Mary's Catholic Church, and is a former Trustee of the Mokena Community Public Library District. Mr. Siwinski has demonstrated his commitment to the youth of Mokena through his years as a referee and coach for the Mokena Park District. He and his wife Annette have two children, Cassandra 19 and Mathew 14.
