In our historic Downtown Mokena, we have recently completed an extensive Streetscape Program adding new pavement, curbs, sidewalks, landscaping, and lights, as well as a completely renovated water and sewer system on Front Street. We are working to restore the area to an early 1900s theme by encouraging the merchants to participate in a cooperative Facade and Signage grant program with the Village.
