The Mokena Village Board recently approved a new 36-month agreement with Homefield Energy to supply electric power for residents and qualifying small commercial businesses located within the corporate limits of Mokena at potential savings off projected future ComEd power supply rates.
The agreement goes into effect this month as the Village's current contract with Integrys Energy Services, Inc., expires.
The agreement with Homefield provides electric power supply at the following fixed rates:
* 7.031 cents/kWh for the first 24 months; 6.536 cents/kWh for the final 12 months
